Ministry Needs

We are such a generous community. Thank you FBC Williamsburg and FBC Jellico along with many other friends and neighbors. We understand that we are called to love our neighbors near and far. These gifts of heart will go to those in need in flood stricken Knott County.

We have all seen the images from the flooding and devastation affecting our neighbors in Eastern Kentucky. You may have already found a way to help, but if not, below are some ways that our church will focus on to help the flood victims: 1.  Our church will collect for Beavercreek Elementary School, a shelter,

     Each year the University of the Cumberlands students, faculty, and staff step up and collect non-perishable food items for local food pantries. Throughout the years we have noticed that the members of First Baptist Church do a very good job of caring for one another. We are so very proud of that. Lately our deacons have been very proactive in contacting our church family when they have a need or crisis. As a matter of fact, many

Food Pantry will continue to meet on the third Wednesday of each month. However, the time will change from 6-7 pm to 5-6 pm. This will allow clients to receive assistance during daylight hours. If you have any questions, please call the church office at 606-549-0280.
