This Upward season is finishing up on Saturday, March 2, at the Christian Life Center of First Baptist. There will be a celebration recognizing all the children, coaches, and parents who have participated in Upward in 2019 on Monday, March 4, at 6:30 pm, at Main Street Baptist Church. Special guests will include Nick Wilson of “Survivor” fame. Make plans to attend.
Children are invited to a swim party on Sunday, February 3, 1:30-3:30 pm at the Taylor Aquatic Center. Cost is $4 each. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The first Upward Basketball games are Saturday, January 26, 9:00 am at Main Street Baptist Church.
First Baptist will host Upward Basketball games on Saturday, February 2, at 9:00 am in the Christian Life Center. We need concession workers, people to referee, host, and generally help. If you can help in any way, contact Tyler or Meg Judd. The next two FBC-hosted Upward Game days are February 16, and March 2. Workers are needed on both dates.
Upward Basketball Evaluations are Saturday, December 1, 9:00 am-12:00 noon at First Baptist Church’s Christian Life Center and on Saturday, December 8, 9:00 am-12:00 noon in the Christian Life Center. Children, ages kindergarten through 5th grade, are invited to attend and register for the 2019 Upward Basketball season. Practices will begin in January and games will begin at the end of January.

Candyland, a favorite of children throughout Williamsburg and Whitley County, is coming Wednesday, October 31, 5:30-7:30 pm. Children are invited to travel through the Candyland path, discover the story of Jesus, receive candy, hot chocolate, and popcorn, as well as enjoy many welcoming, smiling faces.
