Candyland

Candyland

Halloween is coming and at First Baptist that means Candyland. Be sure to invite children to come to the CLC at 5:30 PM on October 31 to walk through the Candyland trail, receive candy and hear the story of salvation. Popcorn, hot chocolate, and smiling faces are part of our Candyland tradition.

If you have not yet volunteered to help in some way at Candyland, it is not too late. Check with J. L. Hamblin or the church office to find out how you can help.

Sample Clue: Birth – Luke 2:6-12

This story begins in a different way

The Baby Jesus was sleeping on Hay

He was the Messiah, God’s Only Son

But His journey began as a quiet, humble one…

With your family, find a barn or manger and take a selfie together beside it. Think about what it meant that Jesus wasn’t born rich or mighty, but as a humble baby, just like us. Talk about why that is important to us as we follow Him.
