Missions in March

There are several missions emphases this month, so see how you can participate!

  • The Missions Committee is collecting laundry detergent. These items will be distributed at the April Food Pantries. Remember not to get the large sizes since many of our food pantry clients are on foot and we don’t want to overload them.
  • The Food Pantry will be expanding its number of Backpack Weekend Meals next Fall. These meals go home with children who do not have any guarantee of regular food on weekends. In order to prepare for that, we will  be collecting single-serve items throughout the year. Items include: single-serve soups, mac n’ cheese, Spaghettios,  Pop Tarts, breakfast bars, instant oatmeal packets, granola bars, fruit cups, pudding cups, and other individual-sized items. Please avoid anything with peanut butter or cinnamon in it.
