The Missions Committee of First Baptist is collecting school supplies to assist area schools. School supplies may be left in the wheelbarrow located in the sanctuary. Family Resource Centers will distribute the items to children in need.
Also needed are some more unusual items such as children’s underwear sizes 4T through 18 youth, Used Tennis Rackets, and youth tennis shoes. Requested needs included:
binders, scientific calculators, headphones, magic markers, colored pencils, flash drives, large backpacks, black sharpies, plastic pocket dividers, glue sticks, white board markers, index cards, cap erasers, college and wide ruled paper, pencils, 16-pack Crayola crayons, and other school supplies.
