Blue Christmas Service of Remembrance -Thursday, December 20

The Christmas season, while full of celebration and wonder, can also highlight and even magnify loss and grief in our lives. Grief is tricky, unpredictable, and appears in many ways and places. This Christmas season we want to give you the opportunity to express your grief in a way and community that acknowledges your loss and pain, but also gives you hope for the future when we are all reconciled unto God again. On Thursday December 20th at 7:00, I invite you to the Blue Christmas service at the First United Methodist Church in Williamsburg where we will worship God through song, remember our loved ones by lighting a candle in their memory, and hear the story of hope this season brings. If you are able and willing, I invite you to be a part of this holy experience.
