Meet in the Christian Life Center! We will divide up and bring Christmas cheer and joy to those confined to homes or in the Health & Rehab Center.  Hot cider and hot chocolate will await returning carolers in the Christian Life Center!

“The Church Has Left the Building” Mission Project — Sunday, November 16

home repair toolsPlan to assist an elderly woman in need on Sunday, November 16, following morning worship. We will be weatherizing her trailer, making a few necessary repairs to help lower her utility bills, clean up her yard, and make an impact for Christ in our community.

Meet in the Christian Life Center after morning worship for a light lunch and then caravan to the Wolf Creek area to show that at First Baptist “The Church Has Indeed Left the Building” and is the church in our community.

Church-wide Thanksgiving Dinner — Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 5:00 pm

cutting edge turkeyFirst Baptist’s annual Thanksgiving Dinner will be Sunday, November 9, at 5:00 pm in the Christian Life Center. Plan to bring a “Thanksgiving-y” main dish, salad, side dish, vegetable, or dessert, enough to feed 10-12.

If you are uncomfortable driving at night, please call the church office and we will arrange transport to and from the CLC. We want our entire church family to be a part of this exciting event!

Candyland — Saturday, November 1, 2014

Candyland is set for Satcandyland imageurday, November 1, 2014, 5:30-7:30 pm, Williamsburg, Kentucky Trick or Treat times! Join us in the Christian Life Center for a time fun, candy, and the gospel!

Coming Soon: Missions Weekend!

  • Bell-Whitley Repair Affair is Saturday, October 4 and FBCW has a team going. You can be a part of that team by calling the church office at 549-0280. We will be doing weatherization, home repair, and helping some people who have real difficulty preparing for the upcoming winter season.
  • Sunday morning, October 5, Sunday School classes will be wrapping shoeboxes in preparation for Operation Christmas Child. You can help by bringing regular sized shoeboxes to the church office in the next couple of weeks. During morning worship we will have an opportunity to pick a box to take home and fill for a child in need this Christmas season.
  • Sunday, October 5 at noon: World Hunger Bean and Cornbread meal — we will have simple food and the opportunity to learn more about world hunger and the opportunity to make a donation towards world hunger.
